‘May my life, show forth Christ’ - from Ed Kaneen, acting Principal of Cardiff Baptist College.
 
 

 

Shwmae, hullo. My name is Ed Kaneen and I’m the acting Principal of Cardiff Baptist College.

Along with other parts of the UK, here in Wales, we are seeing some exciting growth with people turning up at churches and simply asking about God!

But we also face some real challenges to inform people about our faith.

A student in the first three years of secondary school might only receive one lesson on Jesus Christ.

In 2 Cor 3:3, Paul described the church as ‘Christ’s letter’, and that is what we are – so we need to make sure that we are worth reading, and that the author is clear.
 
Let us pray.
 
Sending God, you sent your Son into the world to love us into life. We dare not, we would not keep this life to ourselves. So please help us, in word and action and attitude – to show that this transforming love in Jesus, this Love Divine, is real for us and real for this world.
