We pray for Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family as they mourn the death of Prince Philip.
We pray that they will know the comfort of God, who says ‘I will never leave you or forsake you’.
We give thanks for the life of Prince Philip, for the support he gave to the Queen and for all that he brought
to our nation.
As the roadmaps for lifting lockdown rules in England and Wales unfold, many churches have begun or are planning to hold in-person worship and other gatherings. To assist this, we will continue to update our specific guidance for Baptist churches on what needs to be done to reflect the developments in the law and government guidance.
Before Easter we asked the Government for clarification about use of church buildings for Bible studies as distinct from worship services. We have been informed that the restriction on meeting for study groups in church buildings will be lifted on Monday 12 April.
There is a range of resources in the Coronavirus section of our website
to help churches practically and spiritually during these uncertain times.
The Baptist Union Specialist Teams are now all working from home.
