Support Services Update - February 2024

Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to read our latest Monthly Update.

Spring is perhaps the season most associated with change, and we are experiencing a lot of change in our Specialist Teams. Caroline Sanderson, our General Counsel, has been called to Tearfund and left on 9 February. Hazel Nichols, our Governance & Support Coordinator, is leaving in early March for travel and adventure in (among other places) Australia. And Ian Wakeham, our Finance Manager, has been called to Fear Free and will be leaving us in early April. The situation isn’t going to be easy. We will miss these colleagues enormously and would value your prayers. But we take comfort in God’s word, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, and in our collective determination to serve our churches, associations, and colleges to the best of our ability.

We are encouraged by the following scriptures:

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
