Support Services Update - December 2023
Dear friends,
Thank you for taking the time to read our latest Monthly Update.
As we turn our attention towards Christmas, I have been reminded it is a season of hope. We pray you have a blessed and enjoyable time and, in the business of the season, that you find a moment of peace to rest and reflect.
I want to share a huge thank you, from the team here at Baptist House, for all your work. We are enormously appreciative of the time and patience given by our local Churches in so many areas.
Our monthly updates aim to provide you with helpful support in your mission and ministry. Please do email us with any topics you would appreciate articles on. This month's update includes articles on:
-
Current Vacancies
-
Annual Returns 2023
-

It has been a busy time for us here, with multiple year end processes to manage alongside several big one-off projects and all the usual day-to-day work. I am so grateful to God for all of our staff. We continue to pray for our local Churches and particularly for the people who will visit our Churches over the Christmas period. May the hope they see amongst us lead them to our Lord Jesus Christ as we celebrate His birth. At Christmas, I always find myself marvelling that the following verse was written 700 years before Jesus’ birth: Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14.)
Wishing you a blessed Christmas and God's Hope for the New Year,
Chris Jones
