Re: An invitation to remember all those suffering in the Holy Land this advent and Christmas 

I am glad our minister still lit the second candle this Sunday. Candles show light and Jesus was the light of the world and broke the power of darkness.

By not lighting the advent candle darkness has won over light and whatever is happening worldwide we should be promoting Jesus as the light who came for our salvation and will return in power and is our hope this advent.

So whilst your appeal to churches is well meant it is not shared by some Baptists. Just saying……….
