How should Christians respond to Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is no longer a future possibility, it is already changing the world our churches serve. From schools and universities to workplaces, healthcare, communication and everyday life, AI is shaping the questions people are asking and the way they live.

As ministers and church leaders, how do we respond faithfully? What opportunities does AI present for mission and ministry? What are the ethical questions? How can we use AI wisely whilst remaining rooted in biblical theology and Christian leadership?

This CMD Live event from Baptists Together, delivered in partnership with the AI Christian Partnership, has been developed to help ministers and church leaders engage confidently with one of the defining issues of our generation.

Led by Chris Goswami together with Sally Nelson or Charmaine Mhlanga, each day combines theological reflection with practical application, giving participants space to think, discuss and learn together.

During the day you'll explore:

Why AI matters for ministry today
AI and the changing world our churches serve
Practical ministry scenarios and discussion
Practical resources for churches and small groups

And up to two of the following areas:

AI and personhood
AI and disability
AI and the environment
Asking better questions of AI

Every delegate will receive high-quality resources to continue the conversation within their own church.

Whether you're already experimenting with AI or simply wondering where to begin, this day will help you lead with wisdom, confidence and discernment.

Who is it for?
This event is designed for Baptist ministers and church leaders but is also open to ministers and leaders from other denominations.

Baptist ministers and leaders: £20
Ministers and leaders from other denominations: £30
