Placement Tutor

This work is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced minister to widen their horizons by offering a small amount of their time to engage positively with those who are being formed for ministry at Regents. The role is approximately one day per month to help supervise congregation-based ministerial students by visiting them in their church placements during the week.
 
Successful candidates will be on the accredited list of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, have good experience in ministry, have some experience of mentoring others and be looking to develop in this area, and show an ability to reflect on ministerial practice. The College is looking to appoint two Tutors on this occasion.
 
The tutor will be paid a stipend of £1687 pa, calculated as a proportion of a typical ministerial stipend appropriate to the time commitment in fulfilling the duties of the post (14 days pa). They will also receive travelling expenses and the post attracts a pension. A small amount is budgeted for other expenses, though they are expected to be minimal.
