Baptist Times News Round-up - 16 April 2026
Welcome to the Baptist Times News Round-up for April, which is the first one post Easter and features an encouraging number of baptisms.
Indeed the stories included here are actually a snapshot - when we shared a request on this post on
the Baptists Together Facebook page, people graciously told us of many more baptisms on Easter Sunday: churches in every Association and in different contexts; a range of ages; many took place in church baptistries, while several more were in outdoor and community settings, including the North Sea, the English Channel and a hospice.
We give thanks for every one. As one minister shares below, we pray all who have been baptised may continue to serve their risen Lord Jesus in faith and confidence.
Thank you, and every blessing,
Paul Hobson
