BT Round up Sept 2025Baptist Times News Round-up - 17 September 2025

Welcome to the Baptist Times News Round-up for September, the first since July. It includes an update about how students impacted by the closure of Spurgeon's College have been supported across Baptists Together.

Registration for the next Baptist Assembly opened this week. Taking place in Harrogate from 15-17 May 2026, it has a theme of United in Mission: gathering and sharing. The thinking behind this, programme details, registration and more are all available on the Baptist Assembly website

There are also details of a retreat for children, young people, and family workers from 15-17 June 2026, both here and in the email.

As there has been a break since the last email, there are many baptism stories to share, which is wonderful. Please consider holding in prayer all those recently baptised - and if you have a story to share, don't hesitate to contact me.

Every blessing,

Paul Hobson
Faith and Society Editor/Writer
