Theology Live 2020
The lineup for the third Theology Live has been announced
Theology Live is a day which recognises the breadth of Baptists engaged in theological and biblical scholarship. It first took place in December 2017, with a second event being held in January this year. The day comprises a series of short papers, reflecting the diversity of current Baptist theological engagement, with opportunities to interact with speakers.
The line-up for the forthcoming event on 23 January 2020 has been announced. 'We’re really excited for this day, a mixture of some of our College Tutors and those engaged in doing doctoral work,' said Andy Goodliff, one of the organisers. 'It's another showcase of the range and depth of theological thought that is going on amongst us.
'We believe, borrowing some words from Jesus, that those gifted to think and write about God and mission and church should not keep their light under a bowl, but instead they should put it on a stand that it might be light to many.'
