• a space to meet, where paths join
  • a moment to identify with others
  • a holy space to interact and move forward together
  • a place where encounters with Christ can happen

Crossingplaces is a new initiative from the Mission Department. It is a challenge to all parts of the Baptist family to take the gospel to the places where we meet the non-church world.

We have already interviewed a number of people about the way in which they have been reaching their local community with the good news of Jesus, and you can view videos of these interviews by clicking here.

Earlier this year, we invited people to share their story by taking part in a short survey developed in partnership with The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity. Many people completed this anonymous questionnaire online at Assembly and you can see the results by clicking here. A full analysis of these results will be published in the Baptist Times.

Thank you to everyone who shared their story on the crossingplaces wall at the Baptist Assembly in Bournemouth. To read about the many crossingplaces which were shared on this wall, please click here.
