Dianne Tidball

I am married to Derek and have a son Richard; I live in Leicester and try to keep fit by walking and swimming. I enjoy cooking, theatre, friends and a good novel. I have been involved in writing a number of books, the most recent being the BST volume 'The Message of Women: Creation, Grace and Gender.'

I feel most at home working through issues of how to be a church centred on Christ and reaching out with his love and compassion. I enjoy passing on wisdom and insight from one church to another as I travel around the East Midlands encouraging, inspiring and equipping Baptist churches for their unique mission.

My dream for the Steering Group is that it might discern the leading of the Holy Spirit in serving the churches of our Union. I long that together, we as Baptists, might grasp more fully the generosity and limitless love of God.
