Are you aged 14 to 19?

Do you enjoy outdoor adventures, trying new activities, and meeting new people?

We have the perfect residential trip for you.

Young Bright & Bold is a 3-day weekend residential trip for young people aged 14 to 19 from Baptist churches. It is a chance to try new activities, meet new people, grow in faith, build confidence, and explore leadership in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment.

What to expect
Throughout the weekend, young people will enjoy:outdoor activities workshops and powerful worship real talk sessions 
fun, games and more This is more than a trip. It is a chance to build friendships, try new things, deepen faith, and grow in confidence alongside other young people.

Who should apply
Young Bright & Bold is especially aimed at young people aged 14 to 19 from Baptist churches, particularly those from minority ethnic communities, who would benefit from this opportunity to connect, grow in faith, and explore leadership in church and beyond. Churches are welcome to encourage applications from young people who would particularly benefit from this space and its aims. Where churches are bringing a mixed group, applications from young people from minority ethnic communities will be prioritised in line with the purpose of the residential.

Information for youth leaders
There is a separate process for youth leaders who would like to attend. As spaces are limited, please contact Rev Wale Hudson-Roberts, Justice Enabler, Baptist Union for more information and to discuss availability.

Cost
The residential is free to attend.

What is included
The residential includes:

  • accommodation
  • meals during the residential programmed
  • activities and sessions 


Commitment to attend
Places are limited, so accepting a place means making a commitment to attend the full residential.
As places are fully funded, late withdrawal may mean that the young person or the church they represent is asked to contribute towards costs already incurred.
