Five questions explored during second church hub at Dormansland
Eighteen people came and enjoyed fellowship over tea and cake at the second small church hub at Dormansland Baptist Church, Surrey, writes Hilary Taylor

We worshipped together then practised listening to God and prophesying over each other, before dividing into groups for lively discussion.
We were looking at five questions about how people come to church, what opportunities are there to explore faith, which activities are in the church building and which are in the community.
We looked at why Christians find it hard to share their faith and how this may be overcome.
We discussed how new people are welcomed, both on their first and subsequent visits, and to make the best use of digital resources.
We prayed for each of the eight churches in this hub, and thought about how the churches may connect between events.
One of our hub ladies volunteered to host a hub churches WhatsApp group to share items for prayer, news, expertise and practical requests.
There was also interest in collective buying eg gospels, Try Praying booklets, communion wine etc, as they are better value in bulk. There is also a trade card from the Christian Supply Chain Buying Group which gives good value to churches and Christian organisations from major suppliers such as B&Q, Go Pak, Screw Fix and others.
