Friday evening
West Cliff Baptist Church welcome you to come together on Friday of Assembly to share time with those in Bournemouth for Assembly. We would love you to join us from 6-8pm, feel free to visit a local takeaway or bring a picnic, and eat together, share conversation and catch up with both old and new friends.
The church will serve tea and coffee in their church hall and there will also be the opportunity to speak to Steve Tinning, Public Issues Enabler, Baptist Union of Great Britain, about supporting refugees from Ukraine.
West Cliff Baptist Church is conveniently situated around a mile from the Bournemouth International Centre/Bournemouth Town Centre, on Westbourne high street (Poole Road). A small car park is available at the church, with limited on-street parking on roads nearby, and there’s additional pay and display parking located in Westbourne on Milburn Road next to the local Medical Centre. Local buses from Bournemouth Town Centre stop just outside. Address: West Cliff Baptist Church, 41 Poole Road, Westbourne, BH4 9DN
There are a variety of local businesses with takeaway options in Westbourne, all within walking distance of the church. These include:
- Chez Fred’s Fish & Chips
- Westbourne Tandoori Curry House
- The Lazy Fox Burger Bar
- Fireaway Pizza
- Pizza Pino (Burgers/Pizza/Kebab etc.)
- Subway

If using one of the takeaway restaurants, it is probably worth telephoning ahead due to popularity on a Friday evening. Some can deliver/Deliveroo or similar.
