BT Round-up Nov21Baptist Times News Round-up - November 2021

Welcome to the November Baptist Times News Round-up, which features the usual mix of stories, opinion pieces and features. In addition, we have a couple of extra notices we'd like to share with you:

Baptist Assembly 2022 - pre-registrations open
Coming back together - Baptist Assembly 2022. Next 14-15 May we will be gathering in person at Bournemouth to hear what God is saying to us as a movement with many creative connecting and conversation spaces.

Following the huge success of our online Assembly this year, we will also be broadcasting live our main sessions on YouTube. Pre-register today and you will receive a discount code before tickets go on sale in the New Year www.baptistassembly.org.uk

Annual Returns
We are aware it has, for many, been a difficult year as well as one of interest and stimulation as we’ve tried new ideas online and seen different people engage with our fellowships.

It would be wonderful this year to have as many churches as possible let us know how they are doing in term of church membership and weekly attendance through our Annual Returns process. This data will also help us see if there are areas that might need more help from the wider body.

Please therefore encourage your Church Secretary to send us your church’s data via the Church Update system. The Annual Returns process will open on 22 November and will stay open until 31 January.

All the instructions are on the Baptists Together website.
(Thank you, the Support Services Team)

With all good wishes,

Paul Hobson
Faith and Society Editor/Writer
