To the University of Exeter (Half time)


We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with excellent interpersonal skills and pastoral sensitivity, to take up this exciting new post as part of the Exeter University Multifaith Chaplaincy team.    

Applications are invited from members in good standing with one of the sponsoring denominations (Baptist, Methodist, or United Reformed).

As Free Church Chaplain working in and around the Exeter Campuses, you will work as an active part of the Multifaith Chaplaincy team in offering pastoral care and encouraging spiritual reflection for all members of Exeter University, including those of all faiths and none.  You will contribute to the leading of Christian worship and help to ensure a breadth of Christian experience on campus, including a focus on broad and inclusive theology.        

You will also contribute to the development of student and HE related ministry in the three supporting denominations in city centre Churches and on campus.

This is a half time post – 20 hours per week.    
Salary £17,500 per annum.    


The appointment will be subject to a probationary period.
