Distributed Church Webinars

11 June

DistributedChurchRecordingsCovid-19 has scattered the church, and the 'new normal' may well require us to gather in different ways for the foreseeable future. The Fresh Expressions movement has been intentionally distributing the ministry and mission of the church for more than 15 years, releasing the potential of ordinary Christians.

Mike Moynagh, author of books including Church for Every Context (2012) and Church in Life (2017), is joined by practitioners to explore themes from more than 15 years of learning from fresh expressions of church.  Using units from the free 'Godsend' app, they share key themes from contextual mission and explore the lessons it offers to the wider church beyond the Coronavirus lockdown.

Webinar 1 - First Things First: starting a fresh expression (Godsend Unit 7)
Webinar 2 - Divine Inspiration: listening for ideas (Unit 8)
Webinar 3 - Strangers Becoming Friends: nurturing community (Unit 11)
Webinar 4 - Encountering Jesus: exploring faith (Unit 12)
Webinar 5 - Four Essential Relationships: the essence of church (Unit 16)
