Investing in Godly Leaders

Fresh Streams

We are exploring what relationship and partnerships looks like across the network, some of these relationships are Open Doors UK, Renew Wellbeing, DNA, Next Leadership, Light Project, Spring Harvest and New Wine. Plus partnering with others within Baptists Together on specific projects eg Pioneering and Mission, Millennials.  All this is so we can develop/strengthen our vision and the priorities we are set ourselves!

Exploring a Call

Could God be calling you?
Overseas, Pioneering, Evangelism, Baptist Ministry, Preaching, Something else?
If you are asking, ‘What’s involved?’ ‘Is God calling me?’ ‘What are my options?’ then this session is for you. Take time to explore, talk and pray.

NAMs & MITs

A specific time to gather together at Assembly as both Newly Accredited Ministers and Ministers in Training. Ken Benjamin and Anne Calver will facilitate this session seeking to offer encouragement and practical lessons for the journey ahead as well as a chance to meet and learn from others on the same journey.  Also very much for those receiving their accreditation recognition during the Saturday evening celebration.

Baptists serve as chaplains in education, healthcare, prisons and workplaces. This session is to affirm these important but sometimes forgotten ministries. We want to hear from you, your stories, and how the Union can better recognise and support you.
Do you want to discover ministry as a chaplain? Well, come along!

Women In Ministry

We are celebrating the centenaries of the first women recognised as Baptist ministers. Now is a Kairos moment for us to intentionally invest in gender justice. How can we do this together? The BUGB Gender Justice Hub and the BME Women Ministers’ Network will offer churches and individuals an opportunity to reflect and act together. Hear from women on the frontline in ministry. Think together about releasing more women for ministry and mission in our churches and in our communities.
