'Safe to Belong' policy now available

Safe to Belong front coverThe new version of 'Safe To Belong', our policy on safeguarding adults at risk, is now available as a free download in our Resource Library. Responding to requests from many churches, we are publishing the policy document first, with further information on training and additional materials to follow. Copies of the new policy are also being sent directly to ministers, church secretaries and all those who fulfil the Designated Person for Safeguarding roles in their churches.
A model policy statement for churches and the safeguarding incident form are also available for download from the Resource Library. A series of accompanying guides will be published over the winter months, and work is underway to incorporate both Safe To Grow and Safe To Belong into new versions of our Level 2 and Level 3 safeguarding training. The new training will be available from early 2016.
