The United Navy, Army and Air Force Board of the Baptist Union, United Reformed Church and Congregational Federation is the 'sending church' body for all those engaged in military chaplaincy, in all three services, and including commissioned chaplains and T.A. chaplains. 

It supports military chaplains using their ministry, having, by interview, assured itself of their suitability for this demanding ministry and commended them to the service to which they are applying. 

The Convenor of United Board, is Revd Ian McFarlane, and he is able to give guidance to those fully accredited ministers considering this form of chaplaincy.  He can be contacted via the Ministry Department on 01235 517706.

The United Board organises an annual three day conference to which all regular and T.A. chaplains are invited.
