Get in the Picture is a new ecumenical, evangelistic project that seeks to involve all kinds of people in the Christmas story, encouraging them to participate and experience being part of the nativity in a fun way.

Hopefully working together with other churches, a nativity scene is created in the town/village and individuals are invited to dress up and get in the picture, where a photo is taken. This can then be downloaded from a website, and printed or emailed to friends and family.

The website will also offer information about the Christmas story, what it means to people today, and details of the Christmas services taking place in each town taking part. To download a flyer with further information, please click here.

Create a Radio Ad
This year we are running a competition for churches in the Baptist Unions of Great Britain, Scotland and Wales to create a radio advert for Christmas. The top three entries will be used on the Get in the Picture website this Christmas.

The challenge:
Create an effective and fun advert that communicates something about the Christmas message and church.

Open to:
Any person or group from any Baptist church in membership with one of the Unions.

Entries must be received by 25 October.
