We have produced some service outlines to help you prepare a service for Advent Sunday and a Carols by Candlelight service, along with video meditations which are suitable for use in church or with a homegroup at this time of the year.

Advent Sunday service
We have developed a service outline with suggested hymns and songs, readings, prayers, an all age talk (written by Hannah Field, Girls’ Brigade Mission Development Worker and Arise Children’s evangelist) and a sermon (written by the Revd Dave Hewitt, minister of Chudleigh Baptist Church, Devon). Carols by Candlelight service
To help you prepare a Carols by Candlelight service we have developed a service outline with suggested carols, readings, prayers, and a sermon (written by the Revd Dennis Pethers, Evangelist and General Director of Viz-a-Viz Ministries).

Video meditations:
We have produced two video meditations for use in churches and homegroups, which are particularly appropriate for Advent and Christmas services, but can be used at other times of the year.
- Spread a little light - A meditation with images and music from Whiteraven which can be used in churches at Christmas or other times of the year.
- Trilogy - 8 minute meditation, with music from Whiteraven, which can be used during an Advent service or homegroup.

Christmas Carol Videos
The Northern Baptist Association have some of the most popular Christmas carols available to view on-line and also download.
They are ideal for using in home groups, school assemblies or services in care homes.
We're also grateful to Ian Britton who has made some additional Christmas video resources available to download.
