Worship Symposium

London School of Theology have announced that a limited number of day tickets are now available for their Worship Symposium to be held 11-13 September 2008. The Symposium will offer a unique opportunity to explore current and future directions of corporate worship across a broad spectrum of worship expressions. Contributors include: John Bell, Stuart Townend, Myra Blyth, Chris Ellis, Steve Gaukroger, Geraldine Latty and many others. A Symposium Prelude on 11 September will involved a conversation with Jonny Baker, Mark Earey, Joel Edwards and Graham Kendrick where each will contribute perspectives on current trends and issues with time for feedback from participants. The Symposium itself commences Thursday evening and will involve plenary sessions and many, more specialist workshops.

New website for worship leaders and musicians

Phil Williams at Guildford Baptist Church has launched a website called He Must Increase, a network for UK Worship Leaders & Musicians. It's free to join and there are loads of resources that are helpful for Worship Leaders & Musicians in Worship Teams. For example there is a very active discussion forum, blogs, videos, photos, groups, worship songs written by members and lots more. So far there is almost 500 members.
