The Baptist Pension Scheme will come into force on 1 January 2012 and replaces both the Baptist Ministers' Pension Fund and the Baptist Union Staff Pension Scheme. Information regarding the new Scheme was issued to current members, churches and employers at the end of September 2011. The main documents included in this mailing are available to download below. Prospective new members should contact the Pensions Office to receive an application pack, which will include hard copies of these documents.

Roadshows
To assist members, churches and other employers with the change from the defined benefit to the defined contribution scheme, a series of Roadshows were run around the country during October and November 2011. The Roadshows consisted of presentations by representatives from both the Baptist Union of Great Britain and Legal & General. The powerpoint presentations are available for you to download below. Please note that these presentations do not yet include any commentary to explain each slide. The staff at the Baptist Union and Legal & General are currently working on this, and it will be available soon.

Pension Consultations
