I have been part of the Leadership Team for 5 years nearly. God has blessed me richly over the years though the ministry, relationships I have developed and the real sense of energy & purpose I have found at Warwick. I can think of one particular occasion when though the individual prayer ministry, I was blessed in a way that i can never forget. Let's pray that the Holy Spirit will move in a way this year that none of us have experienced below.

It's been a privilege to be part of LE for nearly all its existence. We've made many friends, been taught and challenged, and seen God at work in people's circumstances, blessing and healing. Now we need to carry LE's prophetic edge forward ...

Sad that I will never get the opportunity to attend-but I have benefitted a lot from the messages available on the website! They do say all good things come to an end ( we used to go to Stoneleigh Bible Week but that ended too).

Leading Edge is one of my highlights of the summer and when I found out it was comiing to an end I was soo shocked. Innavation has been big highlights from Leading Edge with Taste, Envizage and Diversion. The one thing that will never forget is the year we had a massive tornado and it was on the night of the family picnic! Very wet! :)

I'm 15 years old and have been going to leading edge every year since I was 7 :) I can tell you now that Leading Edge is the only event I ever look forward to over the year. It beats christmas and my birthday 100%! I'm so upset that Leading Edge has to end will miss every single element of it :) I will miss every single person who I see every year, i'll miss the inspiring Innovation sessions which have enabled me to grow in faith and the leaders who run Innovation. I will miss camping with all my friends and ofcourse making new friends :) I will miss the community and the friendships shared between everyone at Leading Edge :) I will miss the spirit of day to day events like collecting water from the water taps, and shopping in the bookshop to purchase the same items I purchase every year. No words can describe how much I have loved Leading Edge :) I'm so grateful to everyone who has helped organise this event and I'll be upset to leave this year, knowing that Leading Edge wont be happening next year :) Thankyou so much :)

Over the years we have seen from Leading Edge, people finding marriage partners, bringing babies to Leading Edge, carrying heartache and being prayed for, people being challenged to take part in overseas mission - and answering that challenge. There have been conversions with people coming to know Christ. It has been more that a week in the calendar, it has been a year-long happening where God has affected so many people's lives.

In 2007 I was asked to speak in the adult seminar to tell them about my faith when i was 10 years old (very scary!) I did it and enjoyed it! That night Hannah the children's worker came up to fine me to say that a man in the session had thought about what I had said and decided that he wanted to become a christian that night. It was a strong memory to think that what I'd said and made a man decide he wanted to become a christian :) I will never forget that time and LE overall

Where to begin? As a family we have all been blessed by LE. Both girls made commitments to Christ and then were challenged about baptism at LE. We have all had the opportunity to serve as volunteers. Sarah indirectly met her husband Ross through LE and from there viz-a-viz. We have made a network of friends all over the country by being involved. LE helped in the settlement here in Chatteris - LE06 I had to find space to think again about my ministry, within 2 weeks I met the deacons here and the first people we met had been at LE that year! - this helped in opening doors. LE filled the gap left by BMS summer schools [I am old enough to have attended them for 10 years as well]. I believe many are in Christian service because of LE who might otherwise have not had the opportunity to hear God's call and respond to Him. We are not part of LE2010 but are planning to come for one day, which means we will have been to all LE's except the one in Banbury. Thanks to everyone for your friendships in the past - may God bless LE 2010 in a mighty way.

From hot sun in Norwich to rain and mud in Banbury and Warwick, L.E. will always stay in our hearts as a special time. Loved doing the children's work (seems years ago now) and generally helping out. God certainly met with us and also the various church members, who we have had lots of fun with over the years. Maybe an end of an era but who knows what God will lead us to next! Cannot say thank you enough to all the Board etc. for their sacrifice over the years and only later will they truly see the full impact of their willingness to be His servants.

I had the privilege to be a volunteer some years ago and to be able to help behind the scenes was a real blessing to me. I learned a lot about the need for a servant heart to serve God and his people. I received more that week than I gave. I pray that God will bless this final week in a special way and lead His people on to new things.

We went to Leading Edge the very first year and for many years after - we enjoyed the first fews years (especially in Norfolk very much) and have happy memories especially the camradery in the initial years. The teaching was excellent and my husband enjoyed the writing classes which were an afternoon event. All the Viz team were excellent in all areas.

My family and I have only been with LE for 3yrs, after the flood of 2008, I swore I'd never do it again. It was my children who asked to go again in 2009. My whole family was "fed" on the word of God and by 2010 I was hungry for more and my oldest daughter was a volunteer this year with SL:Ledge. We will miss LE and wish to thank all the staff for all the wonderful memories, lessons and friends we have made.

Leading Edge has been a special event - not oversized as some other summer bible weeks but a real opportunity to share fellowship with others, learn more from God through first rate speakers and 'chill' with others from my church and elsewhere. I've been challenged by God and built up in my faith over a number of years. I'm very sorry its coming to an end and sincerely hope that a way to continue will be found, perhaps on a different basis, but let's not try to replicate what others do.
