Renewals of CRB checks must be with CAS by 24th July 2009 (those originally obtained during 2004)
New workers’ applications must be with CAS by 28th August 2009
Old CRB forms (current) must not be requested after 24th June 2009 (only order what you need)
New, combined CRB/ ISA forms will be available from mid-July (only new workers will be done at the start on 12th October 2009)
Old unused forms must be shredded after 28th August
Implementation of Independent Safeguarding Authority Timetable

The new Safeguarding Authority (ISA) is due to go live on 12 October, we are awaiting a formal statement about this and the implementation timetable. The Board of the Churches Agency for Safeguarding (CAS) have decided that subject to the implementation date remaining as 12 October the following timetable for CRB Disclosures must be followed:
