Assembly nearly sold out

Tuesday 18 March 2008

Book now or miss out. That is the warning organisers of the Baptist Assembly are giving to those who have yet to register for the event in Blackpool on 2 to 5 May.

Day registrations have been suspended until further notice as bookings edge towards being completely sold out. Registrations for the whole event are still available on a first come first served basis.

If the Baptist Assembly does sells out, it will be for the first time since 2001. Accommodation in the Assembly venue, the Norbreck Castle Hotel, was fully booked by early February but plenty of alternative accommodation close to the Norbreck Castle is still available.

Assembly Administrator, Mike Quantick, is pleased that registrations are going so well but concerned that many will leave it too late. "I urge anyone that wants to go to Assembly to register as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate as many as we can but soon we may have to turn people away."

The theme for the 2008 Baptist Assembly is 'A Hope and a future'. For more information on registering for the event go to: www.baptistassembly.org.uk.
