Multifaith

A network for churches that are located in areas of large multi faith communities.  Learning together how to be distinctively Christian in a way that also respects people of other faiths.  We offer an annual get-together for the leaders of these churches, which aims to look at the difficulties which arise in serving these communities and equip the churches and their leaders.

The main issues highlighted at previous gatherings include:

• Are all faiths equal?
• Evangelism and inter faith engagement
• Sharing food across faiths
• Prophetic presence
• Other faiths and other churches
• Education and faith Schools
• Use of Buildings, welcoming people from other faiths
• Confident discipleship
• Living the Baptist Principle of Freedom of Belief
