We are continuing to seek to appoint to this key post a strategic leader and creative thinker with a passion for mission.
The person appointed will work alongside the Head of Mission to deliver the aims and purposes of the Department. They would be a natural leader and networker with a broad range of experience in contemporary mission. Working with a small team of writers, project co-ordinators and support staff, they will be working proactively with networks, projects and new initiatives.
The closing date for applications is Thursday 3 July 2008 and interviews will take place on Monday 14 July 2008.

PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

The Baptist Union is looking to appoint a full-time Project Co-ordinator for the Mission Department.
We are looking for a dynamic person who will drive the wide range of mission and evangelism initiatives of the Department from idea to delivery. They will also co-ordinate the work of the many networks of the Department.
Applicants will need good organisational skills and be able to work on initiative. A creative self starter with an understanding of contemporary Christian mission, who can seize opportunities, will thrive in this role.

To provide administrative support to the Mission Department and in particular the processing of the Annual Returns and databases.
Applicants will need good administration and IT skills, with a particular understanding of the use of Access. Hours for this post are flexible by agreement.
