The Mission Department produced a Mission Consultancy process for local churches some years ago, guiding the leadership and whole church through material over three months to help them understand their communities, develop their mission potential and formulate an action plan. The process is designed to be facilitated by one or two outside ‘accompaniers’ from the association who would continue to be available for advice in implementing the action plan over the following year. This type of consultancy has been defined as ‘a partnership between church and consultants, in discerning the call of God to a particular church in its context, at a particular time, and in taking steps forward in that mission’.
This Mission Consultancy process has been adopted by the majority of the Associations, albeit with different names and formats. To access this type of help you should contact the Regional Minister in your area with the responsibility for Mission. Click here for details:
