Baptists Together are Dignity Coalition Partners

Dignity - Taking a Stand against gender based violence

Across the world every one of us will have met someone who has been a victim of gender based violence. We just may not know it.

Baptists Together is part of the Dignity Coalition aiming to bring this reality out of the shadows and supports churches in grappling with the issues involved.

Lynn Green and others share an overview of what gender based violence (GBV) is and how it affects our churches in the UK and the global community we partner with.

A resource-packed DVD accompanies the Dignity initiative to help leaders engage with scriptural wisdom on GBV. Order your free copy now

Your DVD includes:

  • A theological overview of the issue from Dr Stephen Holmes (University of St Andrews)
  • Four ministerial reflections from Anne Wilkinson-Hayes, Head of Mission Enabling at the Baptist Union of Victoria, Australia
  • Sermons and small group stimuli from Dr Stephen Holmes (University of St Andrews), David Kerrigan (former General Director of BMS World Mission), and Graham Doel (former UK Field Leader, BMS World Mission)
  • Pastoral guidance series from the Faith and Society team for ministers, churches and survivors
