David Locke

DavidLockeBrought up in a Christian home in Yorkshire, I went ‘cold’ in my teens before coming back to the Lord and being baptised in 1990 at Kings Norton Baptist Church. Until 2000 I worked in the business world with KPMG and Ernst & Young until a clear call came from the Lord to join BMS World Mission as Finance Director.

I am currently working 50:50 with BUGB and BMS. I’m also a Trustee of CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) and chair the audit committee of NCVO (National Council of Voluntary Organisations).

In his spare time I am an Elder and Pastor at Ridgeway – a church planted four years ago and now based in a local youth centre in Didcot. I am married to Joy and we have three children; one of the best events of recent years was the privilege of baptising my three teenagers. I have a passion for seeing the nations worshipping together and sharing the love of Jesus globally and locally. In ‘switch off’ time I like running and reading John Grisham novels.
